Below is for media release: Press Conference Confucius Teachings Charter School Revitalization of the Chinese community Restoration of the tradition of Chinese culture Confucius Teachings Charter Schools (Elementary School; Middle School; High school) are seeking approval through the SUNY Authorizer and the applicants are planning to officially open the schools on September 1, 2014. Confucius Teachings Charter Schools will recruit leading scholars, experts and teachers from both the East and the West to offer the students with both the advanced scientific achievements from the West and the profound wisdom of mind-body-spirit from the East to gain excellent bilingual skills and deep wisdom of life, besides mastering all basic skills of English, Math, Social Studies and Science. In September 2014, the Elementary Charter School will enroll 80 kindergarten students, the Middle Charter School will enroll 100 sixth grade students and the High Charter School will enroll 100 ninth-grade students. Enrollment will increase every year.
